Lets say your driving your armada or even a titan and QX then you notice that your brake lights are on with the vdc and abs as well. The brake lights and vdc will stay on if the system detects a problem with a sensor or an actuator in the system. Well lets talk about what the abs does. AbS stands for Antilock Brake System and will only work when the ecu detects a wheel sensor that does not match the others. Its just to give the driver control of the vehicle preventing hydrolocking and quadrolocking (wheel lock up). Vdc in the other hand is almost the same but instead of a straight line the vdc works while your in a turn. Keep in mind that abs and vdc does not make the vehicle stop bettter, Just gives you better control of your vehicle.
